THE BEST COMEDY SPECIALS OF 2022
2022 Was the year of Independently produced comedy specials. Comedians realized that there was a way to make your own specials that don’t have to be platformed by comedy central or Netflix.
I’m not sure how much money these people are making off of these but it’s nice to see that they are taking it into their own hands and releasing their body of work on their own terms with their own control.
Back when the only place to view comedy was the Comedy Central channel on television, they got so watered down to the point where I thought stand-up comedy wasn’t even funny anymore. And I love stand-up. but turns out it was the players and not the game.
So it’s really refreshing to see people who are uncensored, saying what they want and putting it out in the world. So today I present to you the best comedy specials that were released this year…(Not in any particular order.)
